Mortage Bankers Assocation of Maine
The Mortgage Bankers Association of Maine (MBA) is the state's oldest association representing the real estate finance industry. Founded in 1958, the Mortgage Bankers Association of Maine totals more than thirty-six mortgage lenders and thirty affiliates throughout Maine.The association works to:
- Promote home ownership through increased accessibility to financing options to consumers across the state
- Support fair and ethical lending practices within the real estate financing industry
- Educate our members
The Mortgage Bankers Association of Maine is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, the largest association of mortgage professionals in the United States. As a National MBA Member, our state association works in partnership with the National Association to promote the interests of the mortgage finance industry on a national and state level.
